the older makes does not come with bell chop.

Only the recent ones have it. And some have the marks of a protuding dot on certain area of the frontal to mark the different yrs and batches.

So the question is by visiting normal chinese temple will it help, this infor is what i heard from a friend which claim helping only,

dun worry bro, the amulets have been blessed by many monks and over a long period of time as most puta pisek standard operating procedures . Of course unless the wearer shown total disrespect to the amulet, the power is always in the amulet. For exa
mple, i have a Somdej Putthacharn Toh, Wat Ban Khun Prom 168 years, and i still feel the metta of Somdej Putthacharn Toh in it.

Whenever i visit a temple, i ask the monk to bless it for me, to add his metta to the amulet!

history of this pendant in his possession. He was given this batch of Somdej
from his Master 38 years ago +- one two years when he was ordained by his Master.

He in turn, when he accepted lay disciples he would give out one of those
amulets out.

arrive evening. Until right hand kena sunburn somemore! But the bus stop many
exotic places for khing kow and go to hong narm.

Stayed in one of Lp's smaller temples (there are 2main temples.) i stayed at the inner temple where Lp goes to rest/sleep at night. Wow! At night join Lp for blessing ceremony! Lp blessed a batch of pens. (i have one of those pens :) ) the other pens were for some towkeys from Malaysia.

Stayed there for 4days before heading back to Bkk. Good experience!

Bucha ok lah the price, comparable to other temple price. Workmanship nice, good quality also. I think it depends on the eye of the beholder. Up to you to evaluate. Maybe if get from shop high price due to distance from Bkk !

Hope my humble explanation can help. Regarding your Somdej
got crack, so long the crack never deface the main image of the
Somdej, it is still good. But if the crack deface the main image,
it could mean the amulet has helped absorb some terrible bad luck
which was going to hit the wearer and should be let go in any Thai temple.
Maybe by burying it at the Bodhi tree.

my personal believe, if the amulet wants to look for you, you should look for it in a temple. not in a shop. much better, because, in a temple, you would be sure it is 100% genuine, and you could have the monk bless you as well.

making you short tempered. So far the use of Khun Paen is for luck,
relationship, safety and not short temperedness.

If you get such a dream, maybe your guardian angel (the old man)
see you need to wear the Khun Paen. So you can go look for it and

amulets are good most ofthen are for good metta (aka as 人缘), protection, things to go smoothly e.t.c. this really depends on how ur own self to think. u can go to the 3rd floor of golden mile and see there a shop by the owner lee does have a lot of wonderful things there.......... use to get some stuff from him..... but now stick to 1 somdej..........

we have to accept that the Thai Buddhist Amulets do not charm or change another person's mind to immediately fall for you. The Amulets just help you that people with bad intentions have difficulty to harm you, help you be more "friendly" and have less animosty against you.

Others are barang or charms which may have adverse karmic effect.

I personalky find my somdej has been serving me gd fr the past 5 yrs...

I have highend kp, but sold it away. Many positive comments but I felt the opposite. So, sometimes got to try out to are which suit you.

That is the issue. Not many of our SG fellows went to this temple. However, this temple has been feature in a Thai temple documentary film by a Malaysian's firm. The host of this documentary is a gentleman with a "marine hair cut", the language spoken in the whole documentary is cantonese. Btw, this temple is famous for worshiped a "lady Spirit" outside the main hall of the temple. Do any brother has any cue of this temple? Cheers.

hi Bro, trip is for 4days. First 2days in Bangkok, 3rd day Nakhon Pathom and Kanchanaburi.
4th day Suphan Buri then Ayuthaya, end in Bangkok.

Thats why 4th day flight is the last flight.

and also the famous temple for tourist tiger temple Wat Luang Ta Bua but visit this temple only if u like tigers and want to get up close to them... its more of a tourist attraction for leisure not the usual tample trip for worship, tamboon or amulets

Bros, amulet can only help you 15-20% at most. The rest, you have to put in hard work, patience and do more good karma.

For good karma, do without expecting anything in return. Do some dana for the Sangha, donate to print Dhamma books. So when you have accumulated sufficient good karma, then some good karma may come to fruition. Thus you may have good luck.

thanks for the response; i dun wish for out of this world things lah. i know if my 'life' dun have, no point asking. so toto first prize is not my agenda lah.

Just that i think i am a hard working chap, not too bad looking, i socialize and i think i have a sense of humor but my sales are mediocre at best. I have been told i am a nice guy but i am just not popular.

so i guess what i hope for is a little boost in Metta and perhaps let my hard work come to fruition. And also as importantly, get some chicks!! LOL

Though I'm not expert in thai amulets but I will advise you to go for one for any additional divine help. Don't go and tattoo on your body as the tattoo may not be suitable for the whole of your life. The world is changing, so is your luck.

For sale people, KP will be good so does JKT. However, the effect is up to individual. Need no to get expensive amulet or from very famous temple, just an authentic piece from original temple will be good. I am wearing a KP that I rented it from a temple in Authuya, amulet with casing done in SG, total cost $25. Again, this is up to individual whether to rent a pricey one as one has to consider the year that the amulet was made,by which monk, & temple & the type of material used. A good heart & working hard are the most important elements to succeed.

some people believe nobody can buy a sacred Amulet so they say rent. For me i say invite as in we invite the Amulet to be with us.

I would not claim I'm trustworthy or what. But just I'm an Amulet collector and for the past few years i only EVER invite my Amulets direct from temples to ensure my donations go for the betterment of the temples.

So if you are interested i may let you view my modest collections and if something suits you, you may invite the Amulet from me. Cheers. :)

I have plenty of amulets range fron hundreds to thousands dollars. I only wear pu tim somdej yant har. Nothing else. Cause I find it toi good. Give me money also I wont sell away.

thanks for the response; i dun wish for out of this world things lah. i know if my 'life' dun have, no point asking. so toto first prize is not my agenda lah.

Just that i think i am a hard working chap, not too bad looking, i socialize and i think i have a sense of humor but my sales are mediocre at best. I have been told i am a nice guy but i am just not popular.

so i guess what i hope for is a little boost in Metta and perhaps let my hard work come to fruition. And also as importantly, get some chicks!! LOL

i dun do evil so i guess protection from evil isnt top of my list.

Get a gd khum phen. Or metta takrut. Or gd somdej. That will do the job.

After that focus on improving yrself. Extend network, self imprivement books, improve product knowledge etc...talk to ppl more.

Hi bros, i hope it's okay for me to ask this here. i totally have no knowledge on amulets. But recently, i have this sudden thought to get a Guan Yin's amulet. And on that night i dream of myself buying a amulet from some shops. Should i get 1 soon? and any recommendations on where can i get the amulet and get blessing for it ( Kai guang). From my yrs of amulet collections, for expensive amulets, cant even trust the monks. I seen many fakes one given out by monk. So beware. Trust only yrself if u know how to see. If nt, go to reputable shops. Better still if u can verify them personally.

Just got back from Bangkok, fulfilling trip to the land of smiles and temples.

Got some great amulets from Wat Rakhang (LP Nak Somdej 2484 and LP Hin Somdej 2484)
Also Wat Raikhing , LP Wat Raikhing amulet 2553 and of course LP Samrit and LP Watchara various amulets
direct from Wat Thamfad.

This is a myth. Amulets are made to protect all. As long as you do gd deeds, kind hearted, rrspect to sangkha etc, it will protect u. If u r nt, it doesnt matter wat u wear.

Also as fr barang vs main stream amulets, depends on which monk make n chant.

get those amulets made by monk that only do main streams amulets.

Thanks bro, ever since my disappearance - i have collected KB Det, AC Ves, LP Pae, LP Sakorn's Khun Paen. I also collected some tarkuts n palakit. So far metta has improved. Thinking of adding Wat Palelai KP... its addictive.

Ok anyways, to share my latest experience, i have started wearing my Lp Watchara amulets, and almost instantly i start getting many job offers. In my line of duty, more "offers" mean more ot and allowance which comes with it. I am sure in context of business or sales line may mean more business and hit target, respectively.

On top of that i also feel more peace and ability to learn more dhamma. Not that if u dun wear the amulets you can't learn dhamma but i mean it helps me feel at peace.

Such wood is made into tongkat, famous pidta from tok raja etc.

Raja kayu means king of wood. Heard from friend that It's very hard go find trees of such type in forest. When there is a raja kayu tree, there won't be any other weeds or plants in it's surrounding.
