went there from 18 Dec 13 Wednesday till 22 Dec 13 Sunday
everything was fine till Saturday when the protest start to begin, lot of road closer from sat to sun.

The rural folks are still outnumber Suthep's yellow shirts ...... just an estimation by the Army generals there is about 1 million "underground" migrants in Bangkok City alone that can be activated by the red shirts. That is probably why the army is reluctant to intervene as they do not have enough troops to face 1 million red shirts. :)

Not sure about the rural underground migrant, but according to the news that I watched, it's the reds who afraid that the army will stage another coup. As they knew if the army going to stage another coup, as good as losing the battle. :)

Btw, to those in the know...is Thai Discos still popular here these days? Last time I looked inside (years ago) was bad for my holey pockets ..with ah sia guys affording the hfjs (hang flower joints). A pity, when one sometimes only wanted a pint with thai live music only.
