yeah..a bit of gimmicky... besides, one has to hv Mastercard; and those $28 flights are sparse.. e.g. Wed., when the rest are regular fares. It has good flight time but the company is not trying to catch mass demand..

I still like Tiger..with its voucher rebate generousity... I'm waiting for its new incarnation & great offers...

yes... but I believe it would incarnate into another..and offers pouring in again.. I hope more good flight times to Mcau from TigerA given that Mcau is booming... with that Jstar has some competition & will benefit potential customers more..

Some of us have many $50 pieces...!:p Imagine the saving, on top of the 'offer' price at times... So far, Tiger top my list, then AirAsia (BKK trip good price & flight timing.) I hv yet to book once with Jstar!!

Would like to post my first report on a recent trip to Macau and Zhuhai, first time mongering in zhuhai and a good 4-5 years since i last tasted the delights of Macau's finest. The first part of this post covers Zhuhai and the second part will be posted in the " for Macau spa Lovers thread"

Day 1

I took the flight from KL to Macau Friday afternoon. KNN, Airasia flight delayed by 1 hour. Arrived in Macau at 8.30 and tried to get a bus from the airport to gongbei guan but found out the buses had stopped already. Actually the Tiger card will be discontinued from 15 Dec 07, ie, all benefits and card will be terminated. All $50 rebate vouchers muz be redeemed by 15 Dec 07 too.

Thus you can no longer use Tiger card or enjoy its privileges next mth but hope the competition from Jetstar will drive air ticket prices down even further, benefiting flyers using this route.;)
