Nowadays the new gen of mongers are becoming more reliant on readily available info and complain when quality intel isn't provided.

day-in day-out you will see the same names answering newbie's questions and providing intel. I think its time people themselves get into the habit of being more adventurous, learn some thai, befriend a local thai friend. ask him/her where the good places are. Or better still be bold and try new things yourselves.

Every trip i make it a point to try new things despite starting out as a typical carrot tourist.

As for bagging back those onyx/funky hotties, i'm no expert but they aren't as hard as people think of it to be. i have friends on my fb who frequently post pics of partying with their hot thai gfs/giks and the way they know each is pretty much this three way. G club, sg thai disco or friend of friend intro.

And oh yeah not forgetting the last, handsome tall young mario maurer look-alike who comes in and make the girls swoon over him.

U be surprised the kind of people online although I did met many nice samsters who constantly meet up whenever they come to Bkk. ;)

I do reply to all those who PMed me but whether we do meet up depends on interests. I kept all the PMs from everyone and I found yours to be send when I was back in SG for reservist in March. Sorry for not replying since I was not in Bkk anyway. :( let me know your next trip then.

You always come but never inform me and last min 10++ then say want to meet me. I already made plans for the night by then. Lol. Next time inform me beforehand lah. ;)

i agree.. I also know a few thai friends and something new comes up, they will let me know and we go explore together on my next trip. I think it's more fun this way coz you never know what you would expect. If it's not something you expect to be, there are always other places to go.
