Back to the story:

No blue balls, she's not involved in this episode too.

Ever had this situation where everyone around you knows the girl is in love with you, except that you are oblivious to it? Apparently, it was pretty much obvious to the rest of the department, except for me.

The best part is, everyone knows I'm about to get married soon..

It was one of those lull days where my boss and I went for an extended lunch, and being buddy buddy with him, we started talking about how similar our careers are, and my career trajectory, etc. And then he suddenly brought up this topic

Boss (B): Ehh you know, I like how flamboyant you are in office when it comes to those meetings, you were like me when I was younger, willing to put in the effort to chiong up the ladder, not like the young kids we have in office..

T: Of course la boss... getting married soon got commitments ma, then house, and kids, and car.. if I don't chiong now next time I become father liao no more energy to chiong :D

B: See that's the thing, the energy you bring to the team to whip them young kids into shape while still being positive. can be too positive sometimes I see you always go out for tea break with someone ah, don't think I never see hor..

T: Ya boss.. I also dunno why but after that time in the karaoke she seem to be getting close to me, or maybe she's a quieter version of me lor

B: Whatever you do, just use your discretion, I trust you're mature enough to know what you're doing la hor.

T: Thanks boss, you know I know la. But if shit happens you'll be the first to know.


At this point my mind was just "Siao liao lor, I never eat anything but feels like I shouldn't eat and shit at the same place"

Luckily there's no aftermath to blow things up. The best part is, we're still working together like nothing happened lol.

No la I'm like a little brother to my boss so he's older than me. But at that time I wasn't trying though. In fact on hindsight I did miss quite a lot of hints that she was attracted to me coz I thought of her more like a little sister given our age gap.

It does seem like she noticed I'm able to click with her after the karaoke, and we actually started getting closer after that time.

Gonna update on Thursday, been busy with work lately.

Yup it took some time to recollect but then again, hindsight is always 20/20..

Back to the story..

So after that thought with my boss, I actually wasn't trying anything coz I was completely oblivious to her trying to get close to me, but I did notice that she acted quite different around me compared to others. No wonder my other colleagues were saying that there's something going on between me and her la..

Very subtle things like her touching her hair more often when talking to me, smiling more often and she was trying to accentuate her figure with her actions..

Imagine trying to sift through her hair as though she's trying to tie a ponytail but it only serves to push up her B cups.. and I certainly took notice of that lol.

There was this one time where we were out for another event, and we were chatting about life in general, it turns out that while she stayed in hall during her university days, it wasn't the typical wild hall life like participating hall activities, losing one's V and such.

She actually blended into the background with her own clique of friends, it turns out that one of her male friends had a crush on her but she didn't know all the way till convocation, where they received their certificates and the guy confessed to her as he was afraid to do so all along..

Turns out, I was also pretty oblivious to such things too.

V: You know, I am always very blur when it comes to such things lor, like when one of my guy friends confessed to me, I didn't know he had feelings for me but everyone else could see it. But I rejected him coz he was too tall la.

T: How tall was he sia, I'm only around your height leh, he confirm must be taller than me man.

V: Ya! He was like 1.8m, I don't know why other girls like their partners to be so much taller than them, but I prefer someone to be around my eye level so that I can at least look them in the eye without straining my neck

T: Like me lor, I'm also around your height what.

V: Ya exactly like you.
