Hip Hotel used to be a MP but they reno the building to become a hotel. I have not seen the room yet. The pricing is abt 1700++ per night, alternatively with the pricing u can stay in Palazzo new wing.

Beside Hip hotel, u can try Palazzo. The old wing costs abt 1200 per night, the new wing is abt 1700 per night.

is there a big difference b/w the old and new wing? will stay for bht1200, but not for bht1700.

The new wing, room is of cos newer, cleaner, smell better. :D The old wing, the floor is carpet with 14 inches CRT TV, hard bed. While the new wing, room with 14 inches LCD, without carpet, soft bed, DVD/CD player.

I go even cheaper, la...... like 700b and even nearer to Poseidon, walk only less than 100meters (you know where, la) and some more, walk another 100 meter further pass Poseidon, have a super cheap and good BBQ at 99 baht...

Interesting to know Hil Hotel is an ex MP.... would you know which MP is it, see if I had patronise it before....

wow, you are the man..... heard so much about Palazzo, sure tempted to try one day... have been in Watana since 450 per night till now.... 700 per night. still a steal... maybe it is because of people like me, that's why the price goes up... hee hee

but really feel that the rising prices in everything make everything goes up....

I have seen the room myself and it is large very spacious, new bed and DVD player with bath tub and so forth so it equavalent of Palazzo new wing. I also heard all these 3 hotels The Emerald, Palazzo and Hip Hotel are under the same management.:D:D

the old wing is pretty spacious as well and some rooms even have a row of sofa tat can bunk in additional person, beides the carpet and the lack of bathtub, i find old wing is really good enuf esp. for cheongsters like us where we spend more time outside eating, shopping, massage, cheonging than in the room using the amendities, except for the bed when busy bonking the girl haha:p

Emerald's Hotel Spark disco is a happening place for girls to come "foc pick you up" too:D

I was there last month and the Hotel Spark Disco is closed already leh!:(
