Ok, my turn of narrating virgin soapie experience.

I watched plenty of Sean Connery and John Holmes movies in my junior days and instinctively realised that Thailand would be the place for me. Well in those days, Pattaya was touted 'Hawaii of the Orient' and Bangkok was nicknamed sin capital of the world, so how could this be wrong ?

Having saved up enough fund for the long trip, I arrived Bangkok and somehow stayed in the Asia Hotel, which was considered a modern and grand hotel then with lots of Singapore stewardess hanging around. A middle man brought me over to the soapie MP that was closet to my hotel. Yes, it was CP1 ( re-named J1 now ).

Wow, there was the biggest bathtub I had ever seen in my life. The action was indeed according to the 'script' and I was having more fun than this Johnny Wadd fellow in the movies.

I still recalled that I paid the MP 1200 B which included the middle man commission and I thought it was cheap even though it was fixed exhanged rate of $1 US = 25 B then.

We can all learn a thing or two from the master as well as the most senior cheongsters of all. This Run Run fellow even came from Singapore and his family owns the Shaw Tower at Scott Road. Do you see Sir Run Run Shaw always exhibit a gentle smile with very tight lip -- of course no silva -- and never spoke a word to the public ? Yet so many chicks ( read, gold diggers) love to do him.

No reason for us to feel desperate.

Firstly. Why stay near MBK? Traffic Jam Area.

Secondly. Go Nana or Soi CowBoy to get gal because it's not very far away from where you stay (By Bts). If you have the Thai Bahts to spend & willing to spend, definitely not a problem.

Lastly. Go to Rachada, take a MRT alight @ Sutisan Station. Exit from where you can see Poseidon MP, walk towards Poseidon MP & you will see a local stream boat joint (100 to 120 Bahts per person) approximately 300 meters away. Many traditional thai massage in BKk, the extra is up to you.:rolleyes:

i saw one old uncle in Narz of all places, n he was doing "the robot" n feng tau to some hardcore trance...he was probly in his 60s so u guys cant use "old already" excuse anymore n better come clubbin next time :D

Shopping for "normal" stuff.. yes, good plc.
Shopping for puyings... nope, wrong plc.

Take cab to soi cowboy or nana lah. If dun rem wrong, the nearest BTS to Soi CB is Asoke. Cross over to the big cross-jtn. You won't miss it. Nana... nana bts??

For decent massage, can try bodytune near saladang bts (or something like that). U should not miss it. Think can google for it.

Steamboat... MBK got MK. Not that bad. Quite cheap lah.
