Hi bro! I almost forgotten of this place but glad u brought it up. No offence but this place is a damn rip off! Prices u r quoted r too damn high for a "local joint". Pardon me but sounds like u blowing trumpet for this place too much or u taking a cut from them? Can speak England another BHT1,000 more? Why? They blow will feel more song-song izzit?
Was there middle of last year... the place is after the Sutthisan/Rachada junction. If driving, about 5 to 10 minutes after passing the junction on your right side. Daytime its a normal looking restaurant but at night it turns into something like Thermae at Sukhumvit. One Krungthep old bird brought me there as our last stop from a night of exploring joints off the beaten track. His own experience was also bad but he brought me there just to have a look see. Bro Tony Stark (lost in China?) also mentioned this place.
Anywayz it was late like 1am or 2am when we arrived. Looks like your usual Chinese restaurant with round banquet tables but that night only one table was occupied by puyings. OK granted they looked "chio" but they were unsmiling (bad sign #1!)... captain (crew cut & pudgy guy) comes up and asks us want girl or not. We said look-see only. Ordered a large Singha and came with some popcorn which we never ordered so tot free but later kanna charged (bad sign #2) think it was BHT100. Night was long, drunk too much and Goldilocks caught my attention. So Captain Crew Cut brings her over... speaks good England... said name was Michelle aka Bam Bam (yeah I would like to do it to her) and studied business or accounts at Bangkok U. Rates were thrown out, nego LT for BHT2,000 go back next morning. My fren feel tired say go back but Mr. Itchy Cock say dun want sleep alone so agreed to price. Paid Captain Crew Cut, said goodbye to fren and went in taxi with BamBam... it was around 3am but I didn't feel like going back so asked her if want go dancing or not. OK she said but can bring fren or not? I said sure why not? Cut long story short... after an hour at the club she said go meet fren outside disco 2 bring her in and never came back... me end up a fucking bloody idiot in disco with bottle of whisky! Thats why my signature was Bangkok Carrot Cake back then :mad:
Go back complain? My flight early afternoon + fren say very hard to get cash back coz he also complain of bad service b4 but Captain Crew Cut juz shrugged it off. Bros who want to try this fucked up place be my guest but CAVAET EMPTOR! You have been warned! |
