This sounded silly but as a newbie, I will like some tips or advice from seniors here. I am looking for a restaurant pub with slow music and a glass of red wine.
Any other suggestion??

Namelo,

Leelawadee Restaurant! Several location in Bangkok, excellent food with reasonable prices! Great place to take your dates. Do a website search for location. I forgot to mention live music!

Ya leelawadee, I went a few times. Good Thai food with open air live band.

I am looking at good blues/jazz music with a red wine. Guess I will have food separately with drinks. Might go leelawadee for food and heads ekamai or thonglor for music and drinks.

My favourite place for jazz/blues/r&b is Saxophone Pub at Victory Monument. Right next to the Victory Point makan centre, below the skytrain station. Different days, different bands and kinds of jazz/blues. Most happenning night is Saturday, but other days are great too. Mr Ko Saxman performs there quite often. Another jazz place I went to years ago is Brown Sugar. It should still be around, somewhere around Silom if I am not wrong, address should be on the web. Both places attract a somewhat yuppie crowd, local and foreign. Cheers!

Naemlo, wining (and dining) your teerak? Life in slow lane with glass red wine and soft music?:p Is your Leelawadee place not too far from Ratchada? Was there with my ex last year, food not bad with good ambience. With acoustic live band, and great (hi-so) loos. Wasted, left my el cheapo red label 80% (no return visit, lapsed liao). Got big footy screen too. Positive reviews:

Heard plenty on Saxophone place, but never got chance to darken doorstep yet.

There is only one Terrak for naemlo.. It's either heineken, tiger, chang or singha
He will always hold on to them lovingly.. Only once in a while he will lose sight of them when he returns from his toilet breaks.
