Hai one night without BKK nightlife, suffering from withdrawal symptom. Got insomnia. 5 more days then kup mueng thai.

Checked out the dandok thread and spoke to g-club mamasan abt the scene in dandok, seems like BKK is very tame compared to life there.

Danok is simply a cowboy town.. BKK is a civilised place.:p

Danok is :D

. full of owls (come out when sun is down)
. pandas (all have panda eyes)
. vampires (full of blood/money sucking ....)
. fair skin (not exposed to sun)
. police-less (very rare to see police, but place is dam safe???)
. no speed limit (speed trap and traffic cops can't make a living...)
. clothing is expensive (all joints accept shorts and Ts, most female dancers cannot afford to wear clothing)
. very well connected town (have DIGI, Maxis, CELCOM, U mobile, AIS, TRUE, DTAC, you name it all M'sia and Thai services support are there)
. cultural place (can be a cultural shock for some first timer, even for Bangkokians....)

Bangkok is :cool:

. full of people.....

For those who are looking for chill out and makan joint, try Narathiwas stretch Sathorn. A no. interesting pubs, restaurants frequented by local crowd.

Did one place Sortel, with acoustic 2 piece band and free wifi. Jameson whisky 800bt. Thai food reasonable, both indoors and alfresco.

hi bro,

just like to find out for the coming monday and tuesday are Buddhist holiday in thailand. I am right to say it is also a NO-alcohol day-no-puiyin day in bkk too?

No-alcohol start from 12 mid-night but no-puyin :eek: all MPs and entertainment joints will be close on Buddhist day.

There will definitely be joints open. Based on my experience, nana plaza always bribes police to stay open during festivals/elections etc.

But u can't buy alcohol, only place i know at nana tt sells alcohol is spankys. They'll serve u Leo beer for the price of heineken.

Actually days like this when alcohol is not sold are best opportunities to ask your girls to take the party to your room, by that I don't mean your AGG girls but those that usually don't go out w customers like g-club dancers. Tell them u have a stash of good booze(stock up at duty free) tell them theres good food and company and u're all set! Wld be good to have dices or cards jus so u have reason to make the ladies drink hard and fast!
