FT also means foreign trash.
Some are talent and some are trash.
I had the opportunity to worked for a while with nationals from 11 countries.
What Singaporeans need more is - a deep hunger for success.
We need to stop being complacent and contend with our current situation.
Cheers.

I agree with you bro. If there is something we can learn, I will be most humble and all ears. Yes. We do need FT and I am not denying the fact, but the government needs to take care of her own people. One of my cheong buddy works for a foreign oil giant. Guess what? They hired lots of foreigners when there so many suitable local graduands looking for a job. WTF!
Cheers.

EG, let's count on the roads, how many Ang Moh's drive a BMW or even a Merc vs the locals?

The person who really needs to go fuck himself is really you.

well said !! +1

FT

I read a third party survey which found that while the biggest reason employers take on foreign staff is their flexibility, two thirds of employees believed the main reason is cost – a sentiment shared by a signifcant % of bosses. Other main reasons why employers hire foreign talent are because they are willing to work longer hours and are more diligent, better skilled in their area of expertise and incur lower cost. On the other hand, aside from lower cost of hire, employees believe companies want to take on foreign workers because of their flexibility to take on jobs locals refuse, being better skilled in their areas of expertise and are more diligent and hard-working ...

Bro. What jobs are you talking about that locals are refusing?
Better skilled? Yes. Some. But most skilled at talking only.
Diligent and hard working? My foot!
I have seen and experienced enough to be adamant about this.
Many are using Singapore as a stepping stone to somewhere.
Just my 2 cents.

Cheers.
NB: any tokong girls to recommend?

What better skills bullshit you talking about? It is all about money. The more foreigners the government let into the country... the more revenue they can collect.

Well said. I truly appreciate this thoughtful comment. We actually exchanged a couple of comments in the past, and you hit me as a thoughtful person at that time as well. I am happy to find that there is a Singaporean brother who has an open mind (even in a place like this).

I read this tread with a great deal of interest. I learned so much about Singapore and Singaporeans. Because of the anonymity, people show what they really are in a place like this. This has been an eye-opening experience. Now I understand better about Singaporeans and how they think.

I don't support the OP. I do agree that he is not reasonable. You cannot compare Geyland with FKK. I've been to FKK in Hamburg, and you have to pay 200-300 Euros for a high quality girls, and many charge you more if you are a foreigner. But I didn't think he deserves all that hatred either. He is just a clueless person or an idiot if I may say so. I was expecting that people would brush him off or make fun of him. But all those deep hatred comments really surprised me. True learning could happen in a very weird place.

Racism exists everywhere. If you speak Chinese in Japan or Korea, many people will openly insult you. I am very ashamed of those behaviors. They are idiots. I am sure you will agree they are idiots.

By the way, I thank Omnia again for his thoughtful comments--the first one I read.

I can and do appreciate jokes :) I am yet to get over the trauma...

If you are ever heading to Korea or Japan, PM me. I will be happy to share information and--possibly--contacts. I go there 4-5 times a year. Who knows we might be able to share a beer there.

Best,
