Actually 1.5K is a little expensive:(. U didnt bargain?

Honestly speaking, I dont think 1.5m is expensive, its pretty much the rate now. And nop I didn't bargain, its a Saturday and there is pretty much another 10-20+ bros walking around the villas. You dont have the bargaining power, because if you don't take, someone else will take.

Oh about the driver, I think he was trying to highball me. I tell him I do not know the driver rate, he tell me 250k per pax per day. I just give him cause I wont be going anytime soon and I for sure wont look for him again lol.

Planning a trip to Tanjung Balai, 01/12-02/12, probably departing from Puteri Harbour Ferry Terminal at 08:00am. First time going Balai to explore, hopefully someone can bring me around. If not would be grateful for any driver recommendations! Thanks brother <3

Malaysian Indian, all coming from Kukup. And the ferry I took from Puteri Harbor also have a few group of them.

Blacklist the bugger. 250k is cut throat.Ask hotel transport would be fair.

Agreed, Maximilian, Gabion hv inhouse driver, just need to tips the driver at end of trip.

Actually is Not how much you give, but how much the hotel driver get.
Confusing??

It depend on you group size and how many night you stay.

I used to have 3 regular Balai kaki go from sg. Usually they make a 3d2n trip over the weekend.(I travel fr Batam)
The hotel Driver will get Rp200k fr us for 2 night. So is 100k/night he get.

Pre-covid19, I tipped hotel driver 50k or 100k...becos only used him to pick me up from ferry terminal parking lots...then go hotel place bag, change money and then to villa...next was back to ferry...:)

Very fair and reasonable indeed.

Many years back , made the only trip there(based on inform from sammyboy web).
What i did, to save money, just walk on street and catch any motor cyclist, (if you want safer, you can choose women) they are more than happy to fetch you with the fees (since many jobless or very low pay job)
Just tell him you want go Villa cewek and back, he sure know and ask how much ( must tell him no commision and will give him extra).

The house will send lady to hotel by them self.

Now base on Wanfulou infor the rate is about SGD130 + Ferry SGD 100 - not worth it anymore
