I havn't been to BKK for few years already . Just wondering that there was this eating place & liveband restaurants called 'BREW PAVILLION' where i went before at Rachada pisek , is it still there or not ?

The following club names will be very alien to the newer BKK chengsters. Either closed or changed names. :p Those old school cheongsters should know.

Start going back to BKK early this year after 1-2 yrs absence.
The Lords was new place did not see before. Was impressed by decor/ambience but not impressed with the gals. Mirage change into something else. Copacabana (behind Poseidon ) almost dead.
That huge MP building (near Emerald Hotel) that was supposed to be Nataree 2 or something is now a heaven for food stalls and motorbike/carparks. There was some problem with licence or permit few years ago so never opened.
Could not find First Class KTV anymore. There used to be small coyote KTV (forgot name) before Subway/Hi Class and don't see it anymore.
Don't see Cha Cha Club anymore. Looked for favorite beer barrel disco, Pump Up of years ago which of cos has long closed down. Also looked for Pow Kung Pao but cannot find leh. Also Coliseum club closed down. :(
Now have quite a few late closing discos like Shock 39, Insomnia, Climax (formerly Spice), Spicy, Mixx. Nana Angels disco renovated and now called Nana Liquid. Scratchdog and Titanium still around after all these years.
More and more condos/ office buildings coming up in Sukhumvit area. Sukhumvit soi 1 bars plaza now no more. Just hope they don't chase away or move NEP and SC to another place. NEP and SC remain more or less same - 3rd floor NEP have new Billboard, Las Vegas. Carnival no more happening. Famous burger stall still there. SC have new live band bar called The Corner (closes late 4 -5 am) opposite Country Road. More nudity now at NEP than before that it is becoming like SC. :D
