The difference after deducting your withdrawal amount is the fees/charges. Usually when I withdraw 10,000b or more, it comes to around 500b which is very high :D

Yo, you can't win with banks. Even if thb150 admin is waived, 'extras' on other fees/charges (credit card > banks) do add up. Double whammy, exchange rate sucks (good margin added). Price for convenience, and livelihood for banks.

Think there's a distinct difference between Cirrus VISA and your DIRECT debit ATMs (latter I referred to in my post).

On a serious note the FL pricing at In Love Cafe (Krua Kan Aeng) is not cheap.
Even the damn beer and snacks are expensive!

You get a mysterious atmosphere in the restaurant when you go there late after midnight.
Something like in an espionage movie plot waiting for your link up (in this case a FL) to turn up. :p
Think 13 Coins Restaurant Ratchada (sitting at a table by the 2 lifts separated by the fish tanks) but darker and more dodgier. :D

You think BKK is stone age primitive village? LOL. Likely it has more ATM/7-11/convenience stores than KL or Spore.

Not exactly. 150b is stated is admin fee but there is also the exchange rate conversion charge/loss. I am a cash-n-carry kind of guy and avoid all the fees and charges alltogether. I put the money in the safe and exchange a couple of days worth of cheonging money at a time. In a pinch, I could always use USD in exchange for service :D

Have a great CNY! Make a lot of money! Make a lot of love!

Pii Tony poot Thai mai chart pom poot Thai mai dai krap!
Happy CNY bro! U r spot on about the place & thanks for the Thai name, I forgot what it was called. That is why I asking if he can speak Thai... if not waste time or worst kana carrot!
Personally I think its over rated, sure they have SYTs, but their attitude are bad, prices quoted as if hii bpen thong and more chances of airplane u after first shot! If u have time & patience then MAYBE this is the place if not SC, NEP, Patpong & my fav Saphan Kwai way better ROI!
