I'm only aiming for the nuru nuru gel message in BKK coz there aren't any in pattaya that I know of. I wan to try it at least once in my life. LOL.

So I think I will stick to my plan of going to pattaya for more days. Thanks for the advices. :)

oh haha sry me gadget noob..thought micro-sd card is latest for 3G Smart phone...just recently change new phone Samsung S3 and had to change my sim card to micro sim card, thought its a new thing or sumthin lol:o

i might not be a veteran but previously i spitted up 3 days BKK & 3 days Patts and in the end feeling more exhausted and rushed and not able to do many things especially more if you are a drinker or party goer you tend to go full-throttle and time seems to just flash by:D


though one word of caution is Pattaya is not a user-friendly place for credit card...so be sure you have your baht money to spend there...my friend made the mistake once previously spending most of his baht money in BKK and planned to use card while in Patts but he was left high & dry there, ending up paying for over-priced and lousy food at Hard Rock Cafe hehe

I also want to know about this micro sim card stuff coz my Samsung note uses the normal sim card while my S3 uses a micro sim card. Is this the new norm?

Back to the topic - never use your credit card anywhere in Thailand unless needed. Scams have been ongoing for many years. I had mine cloned and cancelled after a trip to a 4 star hotel in Patong many years ago.

Keiizumi -if you're into MPs then stay Bkk. Anything else stay Pattaya

There is nothing much different between normal or micro sim, other than size. U can simply cut the normal sim into micro sim and use it on any devices.

Those highly paid nothing to do group in Europe came out with an idea to make the sim smaller to fit into smaller phone. :eek: Thus iPhone is 1 of the 1st to use this micro sim. Looking at the trend, new smart phone is not getting smaller :D

Not much different between both sim thus mobile manufacturers are slow to pick up the so called new tech and it giving users a bit of problem.

NE, ATL: Me no techie either, but Naemlo's right. Micro-sim card is only a cut-down size of regular sim card. Small shops just snip off the edge, and voila. You decide on just voice or internet data combo option. But be aware, if you only use voice -off data settings either on your mobile, or telco sorts same out. I kena once on my tablet, after topping thb200 ..gone in 2 hours. Another time, zzzz and woke up credit mot laew on non-free standby.

NE, can't go wrong with unlimited 1 week thb299. Next visit, just top thb100-200 to reactivate (monthly shelf life). 3G quite spotty in some outlying areas, kena Edge network not fastest.

As for plastic, also the exchange rate sucks (like last week kena 24.2/3) when closer to 24.9 for cash. Now I hear it's 25 liao. And setup credit card security like SMS and email alerts immediately on charge. Not foolproof, but helps

Ya most banks should have this service. I normally use my Amex due to krisflyer points. Whenever I do a transaction via my card, I will receive an sms. I seldom use card in BKK even makan with customer. Cash is king :D

"Somchai" is the most frequent name given to boys in Thailand, with about 240,000 Somchais registered throughout the country, the central domicile registration office of the Interior Ministry revealed today.

The four next most popular names, according to the official registrations, are Somsak (230,000), Somporn (210,000), Somboon (170,400), and Prasert (170,000).

As of Dec 31, 2011, the population of Thailand was 64,076,033. The number of females exceeded that of males by 1,017,737.

The five provinces with the largest populations were Bangkok (5 million), Nakhon Ratchasima (2.5 million), Ubon Ratchathani (1.8 million), Udon Thani (1.5 million) and Si Sa Ket (1.4 million).

The province with the smallest number of population was Ranong (180,000).

The figures were released today to mark World Population Day.

Aiya you don't mention hot puyings or SYT, how you expect people to remember? I know I only remember scenes where there are hot puyings in the picture, not scenes of small boats and big boats :D


Wonder why many bros like to go to ST hotel for ST. Usually for ST, I go with gal to another bar outside for drinks or food to warm up first before go back to own hotel. Those ST hotels are only not very clean and run down so prefer own hotel much more comfortable. After session, can also give the fee for ST hotel to the gal as tips :)

It is pronounced "itinary" but spelled "itinerary". Words like listen, whistle, kitchen are not spelled in same way as pronounced.

How many days enough for BKK? IMHO, question you should ask is how many weeks or months is enough not days. 1-2 days in BKK where got enough. 1-2 in Hatyai or Phuket maybe enough

Am currently in bangkok, have extended my stay till next week :D Anyway went to Poseidon on tuesday, quality was disappointing. So headed to Nattatre, reached there about 6.30pm, a lot more girls and quality was very much better. Picked a fair skinned one with nice tits, damage 2600 bht. Service and all was very good.
