Economy Slow down?
 

Hi all Brothers & Sisters,

I was told our economy has been slowing down since beginning of this year? I myself really felt it too even how hard i try to find sales & new biz.

Any1 facing the same issues.

Depends on sector...oil and gas , construction , property very bad....medical and service still alright.

i in logistics... In fact, My suppliers & ex company felt the slowdown too

I am in manufacturing. Yes, orders are low n clients are taking longer to pay. demand of goods are drying up.

Friends in same line also complain same thing. China is not buying commodities as per last time volume, n asking for better quality goods for higher margins.

This slow down is considered normal. It will be picking up towards the end of the 3rd quarter of the year. By then news of retrenchment will be common as companies will try to avoid paying the year end bonus citing poor performance as the main reason.

I am in manufacturing too... We serve Semicon, Electronics and HDD.. Freakin slow and quiet.. Customer keep cutting cost to survive and not much buying as production loading almost halved.. Eat grass liao.:(

Ya same here goes to my company..My side is under manufacturing sector..We been building machines but customers keep on pushing out or haven't paid the money so therefore my prod side now eating grass too..its been since 2nd quarter of this year liao..Jia Lat!!

Mostly manufacturing is feeling the pinch. So does mine...

My company pnl is pretty good, but consolidated pnl not sure. But hq still in cutting cost mood so not sure yr end bonus will be what . But generally economy is slow n will remain slow into 2016. So just have to sit tight n endure

Unfortunately, IMHO this is only the beginning of worse to come.

Shanghai down 8.5% today wiping just about all the past fortnight gains, prospects of US QE tapering soon with the rest of the world following, euro-Greek settlement not only just a band aid but worse, the beginnings of worse euro problems etc.

I hope not, but tighten your seat belts!

My 2 cents worth, next year is the Olympics, electronics manufacturing activities will pickup and the surrounding peripherals industries will follow too.
