Am new here and just wanting to contribute :)

A little background. I was a fresh grad 5 years ago and I landed in a regional job. At that time, a regional job meant free travels, more allowance and good exposure. What I didn't know was that it was in fact, much better!

The first few months of my work was pretty normal. From 9 - 8, 9 - 7, then 9 - 6 as my wayangness toned down. After I picked up the basics, my team leader told me I was ready for my first overseas trip!

I flew to Bangkok to conduct training for a company. When I reached the office, I was assigned to this marketing girl, let's call her cocktease J. Cocktease J was a very cute SYT. She was much more demure than all the Singaporean girls I've met combined. Being a frog in a well being let out of the well, I was attracted to her the first time we met.

Cocktease J: Sawadee kah, you must be tired after the journey :) (Cast charm spell 200%)

Me: I'm ok. Just like to prepare for the conference as fast as possible

Cocktease J: haha, you're working too hard. The hall is not ready anyway, why don't we go for lunch with my colleagues

And Cocktease J introduced Pancake and May. Pancake was another SYT but not as pretty as J. May was a little on the plump side. During lunch, May flirted with me a little while the other 2 girls sat giggling. It was later known to me that May was a seasoned "hunter" who preyed on young boys in clubs.

After lunch, the training commenced. I was in a room with the same 3 girls and one elder guy. The elder guy looked bored, and as a new bird, I was trying hard to impress him.

Me: So, do you have any questions?

May: Yes!

Me (relieved): Yup? What would you want to know?

May: You have gf?

Me: Ermmmmmm...... no

May: No in Thailand but yes in other countries?

All the girls giggled, but the bored guy at the corner maintained the same face

May: You want to know Pancake? She very sweet. Or you want to know me?

Me: Well, I.... errrrrr (Not wanting to be rude) OK (But actually I want to know J lah!!!)

May: :) Give us your MSN!

The rest of the session was casual chit chat with the girls. The guy sat there looking like he would be happy to take a nap. From a new bird's point of view, this could potentially be the end of my career. I imagined my boss would hear complaints from this company and fire me. :(

So what's the reason Cocktease J is nicknamed this way? Because that's what she does.

2 days later back in Singapore. I received MSN invitation from all 3 girls, but I was more concerned about J. From memory, the conversation was like this

MSN:

J has added you as a friend

J: Hello ^ ^

Me: Hello J

J: This time you come so short time. Next time we hang out ok?

Me (happy): Sure! Where will you bring me to?

J: ;) You know when you come 55555

Me: haha. ok, I hope you don't sell me.

J: No no.... I won't want to, nobody buy

Me: awwww

J: 555555. If nobody buy I buy ok?

Me: yea, just 2 million baht and I'll be yours.

J:too pang! I dont have money. Can change you with other things? :p

Me: Ah what things you can offer?

J: :p

Yes, that's what J does. A smiley face sticking a tongue out when I try to go into sensitive topics. After a few times, I thought she wasn't comfortable with this and being thai, just trying to decline politely. But then on hindsight, she was always the one "leading" me to "try" leading her into these conversations.

Another example, it was her company's turn to come to Singapore:

J: Hey ^ ^ [^ ^ is her signature and I think it meant happy eyes. I always imagined them as tits]

Me: Hello J!

J: We can finally meet soon . My company is coming Singapore next week.

Me: Wow cool! Looks like I get to bring you around first.

J: Never been Singapore b4

Me: Any place you want to go?

J: Want to go swim in Sentosa!

Me: Haha. You know about Sentosa. I haven't swim there before too.

J: 555555. Now I cannot eat too much

Me: Why? [What's with the 55555 anyway?]

J: Bikini! Don't want to be Sea Cow!

Me: Hahah. I think you won't. Looks good from outside.

J: 55555. But you haven't see me in Bikini. How you know

Me: Haha. Ok I look forward! But I think it will be a pretty sight.

J: :p

As you might have guess. When she came to Singapore, we didn't really go to Sentosa as discussed [then why discuss it in the first place?]. She was always with Pancake and May and we ended up going to different places in a group.

This would be the same girl who will continue to cock tease me for a few more years and leave things hanging. But I think it made her more elusive and mysterious.
