Just curious, any difference between waxing & shaving? It's all to remove the hair correct? Waxing, someone remove the hair for you & shaving, you do yourself right?

Ezen sure meet first 3 requirements.
the last part i think its subjective la. I say she look good, but later you say otherwise also not my fault.

Pink Parlour you need to choose the correct therapist. Some of them have bad reviews.
I don't know diana.

BIG difference.
Shaving only remove hairs from the surface. Hairs grow out in obvious lengths after1-2days. Regrowth can be pricky, itchy and thick.

Waxing pulls the hair out from its roots. Skin stays hairless for about a week before seeing some baby hairs surfacing. Regrowth is more fine and thinner than the usual hair.

Shaving won't hurt unless you over-shave your skin and cut yourself. Waxing hurts all the time, especially your first time.

Both hair removal methods can cause ingrown hairs.

Do IPL la, don't have to go back and wax anymore after a few years. Regular waxing may cause skin to sag.

I have some male colleagues doing their waxing at Strip. They also provide IPL services.

She did apply pre wax and post wax lotion. But i don't call it exactly massage la. Not kinky services there.

Bro, Strip's website has all the info you need. Go google it.
Damage will be higher than regular waxing, but if you do the math, it is actually quite worth the money because you will be completely hairless after maybe say 12 sessions?

Btw, do I sound like I'm a bro? Hahaha... :p

Re: waxing

Just did mine at winkwax last week. Usually the owner, Wendy does it. They even have a live demo video on youtube.. Haha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZviX...feature=relmfu

There's definitely a stinging pain, but pretty bearable. Until they reach the connecting part (for guys that is). Then it hurts like a bitch.

But she will look at you to gauge your reaction. If it's painful, they do in smaller strips. Mine lasted for 20-30mins, because I didn't flinch much. But she was telling me she had a session last for 1.5 hours to 2 hours, because she had to do very very small strips.

about $58 per session for guys. Think girls are much much cheaper around $30.
