What are you guys talking about? No doubt, places like Zhuhai and Zhangmutou had been swept but are they really clean? The KTV, saunas and BBS's are still operational. It's just that they operate at a very low profile unlike towns like CP/CA and the raided towns which operate without fear being raided. Literally, they are 明目张胆 & 无法无天 like there is no tomorrow.

IMHO - CP will recover, sooner than later I hope. Those people who invested heavily in the infrastructure and hotels will be greatly affected. No tourist equals no or little income for them. By hook or crook, they will let it reopen. I have been receiving call/SMS/WECHAT & whatsapp saying the meimeis' are dying of hunger or bored to death. Nothing much to do especially during the night. However, places like 华润, 百花广场 and the 3 CP cinemas have become packed with people.

Those that are suffering directly from this raid are:

1) The WG's or meimei's - blatantly the prostitutes there.
2) Mommies, OKT's, KTV Managers who depend on the KTV as rice bowl.
3) Indirectly are the drivers (black cars) Cab Drivers and the cyclist taxi
4) Food joints
5) Low Hotel occupancy rates
6) Even laundry, DVD's shops, Macau/HKG Buses & Hua Tong. Heard the frequency is adjusted.

It's the whole town's economy is being doomed for now. Hope it will be restored soon
