Just completed my last and final salvo with my lovely companion.
Had to leave for another city for my assignment.
In summary,
1) is there fun in CP?
Yes, there is. Having the help of the right person/agent will help.
2) is there a presence of GA?
Yes. In PZL and sometimes on the street. But in the few hotels I on ZY street, there is none.
3) Are girls prevented from going to customers room?
Most patrons did not have girls with them. But at the hotel where renovation and building of the new wing, access to hotel room was un-impeded. Though I did not stay there, My girls had no problem going to my room.
4) do I have to register my girls?
No. I didn't even bother to.
5) what other precautions I should take?
Stay low profile. Your girl should not be overly dressed to attract attention.

Neither am I encouraging you or discouraging any one to come.
Mongering in China is a crime.
For those who feel that this is not the right time to come, so be it. Wait for things to get better.
For those who already are planning to come, things are slightly different from last time. Come with lower expectations and you will truly enjoy like I did.
