Some Updates on CP -
This is not a FR on the newly open KTV but on the inner workings of the current state right now. Please don't ask me to provide evidence etc etc. Like I said before...I will post what I heard.
Right now, there is no actual political "protective umbrella" for these operations. The old ones are all jailed or 下马. The new officials and even the GAs now are very wearily of taking bribes as the level of distrust is very high among the political circle. There are still no clear indication if the old "pay and close one eye" way can continue.
As a result, all the operators are operating as per the law allows i.e. meeting the legal definition of non-vice activities as a KTV. Needless to say, no sauna can be opened for the time being.
