During the last few months of tight supply it was the actions of certain middlemen who took advantage of the situation and jacked up their margins thus giving the mm the impression (rightfully or wrongfully) that their market value have gone through the roof.. MM on their own are unlikely to test such high price boundaries but the middlemen have proven that there are or was willing takers for such inflated price so this emboldened the mm to ask for such pricing. If she can remove the middleman and eat the whole pie for herself, who won’t? We have certain middlemen to thank for the continuing to push the price inflation with or without crackdown/YD..
