Condom thickness is perhaps a marketing gimmick employed by manufacturers to squeeze more money out of us.
I got to know a German working for DUREX in London during a materials technology exhibition in FRA 3 yrs back and he mentioned that the optimal thickness is around 0025. Hence many manufacturers make the 003 condom and some 002.
So anything thinner may just be marginal sensation. If we feel much more, it could be self-suggestive response on our part.
