As they say, your mileage may vary YMMV.
I have encountered "open name" surprises too; just have to accept, laugh and learn a lesson. In older days, such disparities seem less though and I do miss reliable FRs from bros like Omnia with their subtle distinctions between 'definite' and 'potential' gems.
