Blood tests for HSV IgG antibodies take 3-6 months to turn positive after exposure because it takes 3-6 months for your body to make IgG antibodies in response to an infection.
HSV PCR testing is accurate, but you need to have herpes lesions for a swab to be taken.
See a doctor to get specific advice.

Apparently I seen a Doctor and he told me at the one month mark a blood test result would be rather conclusive but somehow rather information everywhere is just different which makes me suspicious.
Furthermore I am almost 3 weeks after exposure and I have no symptoms at all. Hence the Doctor claim I am most likely to be safe but again I am still suspicious as all the information varies so much.
So I am quite lost.
