You will be asked things like how long you stay..where you stay..what is the purpose of your visit. Best be direct and concise. Have documents ready is proof is best. This just a suggestion.

Also..avoid carrying a backpack when walking around..high chance you may be spot checked. This also just a suggestion.

Remember that Suvarnabhumi has 2 immigration points..400 m apart. If you find the nearest one is crowded, try heading for next one. Not a sure bet but worth a try.

Nothing to be paranoid about. Let the authorities do their work.
You are right bro Soi6. Genuine Tourists nothing to fear or be paranoid about.

Immigration checkpoints are on high alert so expect longer wait times.

Police are also searching guesthouses, apartments, hotels and even condos popular with expats. Overstayers suggest to surrender at airport, pay fine go out and come back in again with a clean state. Being caught overstaying and voluntarily surrendering gives 2 huge different results. If getting caught, you will be arrested, locked up in district police station lock-up and transferred to Immigration Detention Centre await deportation.

A copy of passport ID and visa stamp is always good. No identification papers or documents at spot checks can be tricky. Save yourself from unnecessary troubles, save a copy on your smart phone.
