I mean how often does one see BBQ pork in a Muslim country? Very rare, i think...most of the time will be BBQ fish,chicken or maybe even lamb,but PORK!! Phew!

Actually bro, this is quite common in north sumatra, a.k.a the land of karo. That dishis actually named Babi Panggang Karo (BBQ Pork of Karo). North sumatra region mostly inhabited by Batak Tribe. This tribe of people does eat pork & dog meat except some minority who are actually muslim.

Not to mention, Medan, the capital city of north sumatra province which has more chinese (hokkien) than batam's chinese population, is the paradise of chinese food in indonesia.
