To be honest, when I saw those ugly photos posted here some days ago, even before knowing they (or one of them) are professional scammers in agreement with some local bandit, I thought
"How the heck could one pay a premium price to stay with this kind of low-level ugly women in Batam??"
With so many pretty and nicer girls all around? In massage joints, KTV, bars, pubs, discos??
They are out of the market, and only with the help of a professional scammer they can make money at the expense of tourists.
So, how much I would rate them? Just enter one of the main joints (Bunga, Happy, Sedona, etc. etc. etc.) and look around. Ladies with that look are usually priced in range 600k-800k (booking rate). No more than that.
I could enumerate the various mistakes made by Mr. Donkan (not to blame you my friend! You have my solidarity, really! I feel so much sympathy for you. Just to list lessons learned to avoid others repeat the same), which led to that unfortunate ending, but the first of them was to accept to overpay 1.5M for women that in Bunga would have been offered for 1M or less. Just that should have demonstrated that the source was not trustable, neither friendly, since the beginning.
