1st post in this Beijing thread.

I used to frequent Passion (Tien Shan Ren Chen) KTV or the Dance Hall segment where loads of gorgeous chicks hangout and you can have their chat company for between 300 RMB to 500 RMB. Unfortunately it is closed for "renovation" for a while now.

Asked around and the Peninsula Palace Hotel (Wang Fu Fan Tian) Club Manager suggested why not the Club downstairs at Basement 2. I believe the name is Point Wonder International Club or something like that. So after dinner, we headed downstairs to check it out. The place seems well appointed with lush furnishing and staff in smart uniforms. The door manager introduced me to a mamasan named Wang (2) Chao (3), around 25 who brought me and my 2 visitors into room No 8. This room can seat 8 comfortably. As my 2 visitors speaks no mandarin, I requested for local gals that speak some english so they will not feel left out. Soon came a local gal that speaks fluent Japanese that my visitor from Japan bagged. Next came a Korean looking chinese babe that my Korean visitor took an instant liking to. Now it was left to my device, i wanted the mamasan actually (hic hic) but she sent me various configuration that did not please my eyes. In the end they phone and got a university gal that looks somewhat like the mamasan, sweet and demure looking which I regret that I okayed later that evening as she had classes the next day and could not stay over.

We sang and danced and talk cock and soon mamasan Wang Chao started her nonsense to get the ball rolling. We drank MaCallan whisky 12 years neat, on the rocks and with water and soon we were into the 2nd bottle. Drinks were free flowing as we had to consume a minimum of RMB3380 for the room that night. The MaCallan were around RMB1800 per botle.

At the end of the evening, the investment was as follows:
Room waitress RMB500
Room Toilet Cleaning Uncle RMB100
Mamasan USD800 (building my points with her)
Gals RMB500 each
Room/Drinks RMB4000

The take away fee quoted per gal was RMB2000 each. I passed as my gal could not stay the night while my 2 visitors took their supper back to their rooms.

I am sure that I paid more then necessary for an evening out in Beijing. However it was worth the convenience of the hotel being upstairs.

If any brother could suggest other alternatives to this joint or Passion, I would certainly like to organise a KTV get together during my next trip to Beijing soon.
