Muahaha. Your history cmi lah. It was his elder brother that supposedly usurped the throne not him. And when the palace officials loyal to the father discovered the truth... the culprit "died" in suspicious circumstances and his younger brother Bhumiphol was installed as the Monarch.
And to prevent loose tongues and the masses finding out the truth.... the leste majeste laws was enhanced with stiffer penalties.
