I felt very grateful towards you, and would have done anything you asked.
As we stood by my car to say good bye, we held hands and kissed. I’m thinking the day has to end and I have prepared myself for it. But then you get a twinkle in your eye and ask if you can come to my house. My heart leaps into my throat and I rush you into my car. I have no idea what you have in mind, but the thought of being alone with you is intoxicating. You’re acting very shy and giggling and covering your mouth.
Then you turn to me and tell me you have something to ask, but you are not sure you can. I find the words to reassure you and you ask if I will teach you how to play strip poker. I did a few back flips then said, “Sure.” I won’t try to describe what it was like getting to my house, finding a deck of cards, and setting up a table. Let it suffice to say it felt like an eternity. So there we were, with a table, chairs, and cards. It turns out you don’t know how to play poker at all, so we agree that until you learn, you will just have to take my word for who the winner of each hand is. You win the first hand, and ask me to take off a shoe, That’s a little disappointing, and you think it’s hilarious. But I win the second hand, and you have to take off your shirt.
