IMHO - it goes both ways, not one way.
Do you go KFC and order Big Mac meal?
And then insist customer always right?

Regarding what transpired:
1. OKT should have msged you when you are late and still no msg from you (SOP)
2. On your part, you should not go inside earlier even if she is OK/free - without OKT knowledge.
That is plainly incorrect on your part. Period and nothing to argue over. Almost all OKT would rather not have such customers.
3. Now when OKT msg you, you should have just responded reached, along with your attire.
No need to be smart aleck and announce you are already exactly where.
This is nevertheless wrong, but applies the rule of "just don't get caught"
