Yea,they changed to Fibre broadband on Oct/Nov time. I even talk to their ISP few days ago,...seriously their IT knowledge really sucks big time. To top it up,they tell me it would be too complicated to help me...so they send their technician down. Even to the point when the tech guy reached my room, the problem wasnt resolved on the spot. Took him another few hours. What really put me off completely is,6 hours after he left,the same problem persist....hehehe...
I think Formosa is trying to play the same game as Genting hotels,whereby each room has only password. The bad part is,they couldnt get one password stable enough to work properly and for more than 1 device,hehehe...just like how Andromax works.

I already told the hotel manager the problem. Sarcastically asking him how many times their staffs plan to come to my room for my 4D3N trip in Batam.
The last time i talk to Sinta (ex formosa staff) about a similar problem,i got some compensation,hehehe... i used those compensation to solve my problem.

You are right on some point. I brought a group of friends to Batam,only me need to carry the Andromax device in my pocket,all my friends behind me can surf...hehehe...good idea huh? Even friends beside my room can get connected too. Of course, the Andromax device is password secured. And only one password is needed.
I prefer to connect via USB (unless i am out of room). One of the reason is, the battery usage. If the battery runs low, the network auto disconnected. Its also more stable with USB connection too.
