Some help for those looking for hotels/ rooms or apartments.
I mostly use an apartment for a whole day (10-7pm) but many good places out there for not that much money.
Apartment in Geylang $108 for 9 hours with pool. Airbnb
Relc hotel ($56 for 4 hours). Stayr
Hotel Royal, all facilities available like pool and gym 9 hours $100. Dayuse
Apps I use to find places ( most of you know of course)

Good luck and don’t forget in December prices almost double then normal.
