remember this is thailand - there is more to it than meets the eye, but girls with cars can mean other things ( many girls work in SG- GM /ICON/LI) and able to afford cars..But business indeed is not as Roaring compared to a year back (that is WHY see so many gals from Florence coming to Singapore to work).
So bigger more popular clubs that draw in the crowds in bkk (e.g. Island, Carri bean) , tend to have lesser proportion of gals coming over to Singapore to work.

I no pro, limited Passat thai hence when they tell me, I was remembering them by bits especially the membership since the opening price was 10k baht, I balk at it but when I pay my 1st bill then I thought, it will be better for me to buy but now I felt happy because most probably I will not be visiting again. So lucky never buy since it was crazy to buy if I am not going there frequently.
I was told that the girls from GM were from there, hence I went there. I stay in different hotels everytime I was in Thailand, have stay in Majestic Grande, Baiyoke Sky (twice), and Novatel Bangna (1st choice). I also went to Julie Club, another place where a lot of GM girls were from. Will give a detailed FR on it soon when I can rack my brains to think.
The shock value on knowing that most of them drive is also because I was constantly fed with the information that they are very poor and that usually their parents or siblings are ill. Ha ha. So for fellow bros who got a misconception, it was very clear that most of such information must be taken with a cup full of salt instead.
