Can sue the landlord for breach of contract and damage . Usually rental contract comes in form of like 2 (fixed) +1 (renewable) or 3+1 like that. Where the 2-3 year the rental price is fixed as per agreement, then landlord got the power to up rental at the +1 year. If the contract is nowhere near the end and suddenly landlord want to up rent, is sue-able 1
