I think the priciing for the girls share ideally should be around $230, and OKT share about $70, making it $300.
OKT costs per month
Rent - $12K
Employees - 2 front desk x $4k salary per month - $8k
Laundry expenses - $3k
Cleaners - $1k
Soap and other misc - $1k
Total $25k. If OKT has 4 girls, earning average 5 sessions a day, he will get $70 x 5 x 4 x 24 =$33,600.00. Still can survive.
The individual average girl makes $230 x 5 x 24 =$27,600.00 a month which is $27.6 x 12 x 5.1 =RMB1.69M a year. I think most girls will stay, and the prettier ones / top ones will earn more through tips etc
Its supply and demand - higher price lesser cheongster, but supply goes up or better quality. In the end, GL may still stay alive.
The other concern is maybe demographics. We are the cheongsters who been through the GLs of 2000s. Mostly greying hair already. Are there young cheongsters increasing and replacing the greyinghair generation cheongsters or they don’t like going to GL but seek other entertainment. This will kill off demand and really meant the end for GL. Maybe not in my time already 10-20 more years max.
