Ok those clubs that are located in Thong Lor And Ekkamai whick Funky Villa is Located at , are catered more for the 'Hi-So' Thai patrons wherelse RCA is catered more for the younger/student crowds . There is also differents between the two areas partly is that at RCA this area is classfied officaly as Entertainment Areas by the goverment of Bangkok so you will see dance floor at a certain section of the club , Example: At Slim club you will have the Slim live section where as usual you will find small low tables and chairs dotting that section complete with a Live band Playing Thai Indies and Thai pop Songs which is a more popular section among the Thai crowds , In fact this concept is very popular in the whole of Thailand . Ok on the other side of Slim Club is call Felix(Under one roof in slim) is playing dance and house music whole nite long this part is where u can find a dancefloor to dance without any tables in between . But most of the time is empty . Oh yar haha before I forget there is the section in the middle of the club playing Hip hop/R&B where it can get crowded too around 9-10 pm your chair that you are sitting on will be gone haha <---- Dunno is there any changes anot because is quite some time I club at Slim already. Same concepts goes to Route66 beside Slim Club .

Ok lets move on to the Thong loh/Ekkmai area . Clubs in this area are more for Live Bands and is quite a hit among the thai HI-SO, Superstar Patrons as usual most clubs in this area will have Live Band less out 1 or 2 clubs (Example:Club Demo does not have one .) Famous clubs in this area are Mainly MUSE / Funky Villa /Maya /Nang Len / Curve / Jet . This clubs actually operates as a Restaurent cum Pub because it does not have a CLUB licence so by Thai law you are not suppose to dance inside shocking ? but is true but who cares anyway is just on the book so dun worry everybody still dance as normal . So in order for the place to operate tables and chairs must be filled in the place to 'proof' that it is a pub/ restaurent /cafe so when u step into the clubs in that area you will fine small low tables and chairs <--- In Fact the Thais prefer this way then a huge dancefloor which in my opinion is better rather then u see in Singapore clubs aka Zouk and Zirca and so on where some crowd dancing like a mad monkey haha but anyway Singapore Clubbing scence is boaring when u stay in Bangkok for a long time and return to Singapore .
