Chap 18: A Hint of romance.
thinking ling so sweet to me and made me fall in love with me... i also plan to do the same, i rather she fall for me more, then i fall for her more. I decide to give her a romantic surprise...
about after lunch time, i went for an appointment...
on the way,i pass by raffles city.... when to the flower shop at the basement, the shop attendence is a part timer i guess, seems like school holiday JC gal come out work. typical JC student... she was busy playing her iphone when i walk in....
Flower Gal: hihi, sorry sir, looking for gift? for what occasion?
me: yap... looking for flowers to give my gf. any recommendation?
FG: roses lo, i love rose... izzit for her bday? anniversary? or sometime guys do come in for sorry roses.. haha. me: it's for....erm... nothing lo, just feel like giving her...
FG: ok, red is actually for love... to tell her you love her... whereas pink symbolise sweetness.
but currently the popular one are more of lavendar and blue rose, thou they don;t really have significant meaning...
me: wow.... got like tat one ahh.... so which colour do u like?
FG: for me ahh.... i prefer combination of blue and pink.... haha.
me: ok, then how about the number of roses?
she went to her counter and took out a piece of paper...
FG: ok, 3 means I love u..., 10 means telling the person she's perfect, 15 means more for sorry, and 24 means you are thinking of her 24 hours a day....
me: ahh, interesting.... then anything for secret admirer?
FG: tat ahh (she refer to her chart again).... 13....
me: ok, do you do immediate delivery? i want it before 6pm...
FG: that will be $30 extra leh...
me: it's ok, just wrap a good one for me... give me 3 pink and 24 blue...
I choose a card, write some note on it...
and get the FG to send it for me together with the flower...
me: you sure it will be delivered today hor?
i write down ling name and the address...
me: btw, put this little bear in the middle also....
FG: awww.... so sweet.... haha...
me: izzit, thanks... u working tomorrow? in case it doesnt reach my recipant.
FG: yap, i'll be here daily...

i made my payment and took my leave.... before i left, i took on last look at her as she is busy doing up my flower.... so young, so sweet...
i proceed to another flower shop located at suntec city....
order 6 pink rose and 7 blue rose. total 13... secret admirer ahh...
i pass the aunty the card i collected earlier.... can help to send to this flower shop.... the aunty give me a weird look, order flower to a flower shop?
i choose another card... "hi jaslyn, surprise?

then i went back to office...
