Chap 19 - Flowers

I was beginning to look forward to the arrival of the flower... and to tomorrow when jaslyn receive y flower...
will i receive the sms "PERVERT!!" or "thanks so much!!"??
anyway, that's not important...

i proceed to act busy, submitting 2 contract to ling....
and whole office know i got 2 contract today. and that means?? "no time to buy flower"

530pm sharp - ding dong...
a man in white polo tee and a bouquet of flower stand at the door.... i open it... "yes?"
men: flower delivery for ms ling, everyone start to pay attention to the door....
me: ling, your hubby send some nice flower for you....
ling: cannot be la... she walk over to verify her name and sign it....
holding her big big bouquet of flower, she walk back to her desk and looking for any card to see who send it....
she never suspect it's me...

everyone in the office is making fun of her already.....
"wow.... i work here 5 years, first time out col got flower."
"wow, ling, your hubby so romantic.. "
"ling, anniversary ahh? so sweet"

she look very embrassress, and soon she found the card...
"dear ling,
3 pink roses for "i love you"
24 blue rose for each hour i'm thinking of you daily,

love.... "

she clutch the card tightly in her hand.....
and now everyone want to look at the card....
she refuse to show anyone.... not a single soul....
Reason: my handwriting is super unique.... one look and everyone know it's my handwriting...

she kept mostly silent most of the time, but she was secretly smiling as she read the card....
aunty sue: ling, so happy ahh.... haha, want smile smile out la... dun hide.... every gal receive flower got the right to be happy one...
ling: aiya, aunty.... u dun make fun of me le la... already so paiseh

i know my trick works...
she is now beaming with happiness...

me: surprise? not me....
ling: dun lie... i see your handwriting 3 year le. i cannot be wrong...
me: haha.... like it?
ling: yes thank you!! *muacks
me: glad u like it...
ling: u give me flower need to return favour one izzit?
me: depend de wor, i wun ask for it one...
ling: aiya, think i dunno wad u mean meh?
me: excues me.... i need anything u also will give de, no need flower one. haha. this flower is just to brighten up your gloomy life...
ling: thanks, and i love it alot!!

with all the funfare in the office, soon it was 630pm.... again left me and ling in the office....
ling have been working OT recently, and everyone know it as she got alot of work before she left...
for me, i just got in 2 contract, so no surprize i working OT...
