Lower Sukhumvit (where CM2 is) is fking messed up man! The Africans have come in and are selling drugs like nobody's business... ridiculous! If that is not bad enough, you have African hookers... the kind that have bodies like "pull to inflate life vest" kind... and they are dressed in the tightest possible neon colored spandex clothes! (Wearing spandex is a privilege, not a right!) And all the 3-layer pork hanging out... disgusting!
There is a new club called MIXX, behind Central Chitlom, which is suppose to be latest and greatest but I have not been there. Narz (at Soi 23, NOT Cowboy area) is also happening but only on weekends and late.
If you are looking for local joints... there is a underground place called BOSS... happening but you need to be careful and better if you speak Thai. There is also Scratch Dog at Soi20. If you are daring and want to venture out, there is Spoon at Rachada (SYT...yes... underage? Also yes... WATCH IT!)
Ideally, go "shopping" at Soi Cowboy, pick a girl and bar fine her... ask her friend to come along to (bar fine her too... its only like THB700). Tell them you wanna go dancing... like that... you will know all the places (for first timer) and also, you wont look like a sleezy guy hanging alone at the disco...
