Few years ago, before Siam Hotel demolished this area was quite happening. Siam Cafe had good food and some good picks sometimes. Outside in garage area of Siam Hotel had groups of gals with touts/ mamasan also. on main road from Mona Lisa MP (now changed name) all the way to the back of Siam Hotel had gals lining the streets. Also had all kinds of food shops on main road- had a Chinese lady sell chicken rice, then a small Thai bar, 99B buffet, and many stalls selling noodles, pork trotters. Sometimes after Mona Lisa close around midnite, few Mona Lisa gals will just walk out and stand on streets also LOL

What a shame the hotel was demolished. You remind me of our past group hanging around in the coffee house and the carpark area after midnight. It's a pity to see the gals running across the street once the police came and return later once the coast is clear. Also the place was very popular with locals and asian and it was better without the Okt, Mamasan and Lb as they start running the place.

Like I said it was like walking around the pasar malam.
