That's overbearing. Wonder what sort of things they wouldn't do.
I guess in a foreign land, best to go where you can find local crowd, be it pubs, ktvs, sauna, eateries, etc. It usually means good and cheap food too.
Are there a lot of these in Pudong area? Gonna be moving there soon, ought to know where are areas/places to avoid. Thanks to any bros who can enlighten

bro, just remember this can liao: As long as an offer/transaction sounds too good to be true, you better f**king be careful. In any places (not just shanghai), don't heck care those who came to intro you stuff/places when you're outside. if it's so good, no need to do intro one..most places are covered by the bros here anyway.
I am not familiar with Pudong, but you can always walk around and enjoy...exploring the food..
shanghai's cost of living is already way above spore, so please don't harbor that kind of cheap china thots anymore...shanghai is no longer for the poor, to put it in the crude way. you should know that...haha.
btw, would love to catch up with you again...if there are chances. there are a couple of good bros staying in pudong side with families. you guys can always meet up. And if you happen to be in shanghai this weekend, there is a food Singourmet event organised by the embassy in Nanjing road, oppo Porterman Ritz Carlton hotel. check it out.
