Heard somewhere that Pilots who would fly in/out of Hong Kong airport when the Typhoon signal #8 and above is hoisted would get bonuses...as then the airline wouldn't have to spend $$ to house paxs/reroute flights etc. And the Pilot supposedly always have the final say on such decisions.
Wonder if this is true
