Yes apparently the CP agents all provide pretty good/reliable service to us bros going to CP.
One thing to note is that EXCEPT for the Huanggang border, all HK/China borders close at midnight (Shenzhen Bay 23:30, Shataukok even earlier at 22:00 I think).

No, the CRH train SZ to DGG/GZE etc stops at around 11 PM. About the only way to get to CP that time is by private car which you should pre-arrange with one of the CP agents. The bus service from SZ airport to Downtown SZ operates quite infrequently at that hour too.
