I see marriage as a partnership. you have to leverage on each other's strengths to derive maximum benefit.
I am female so I married for love of course but not only love - my husband has other strengths which are what I want and of course he has weakness as well which I have to compromise at times. Men are selfish creatures so women have to guard their own rights..
So I can't stop my hubby if he "eats out" - just dont let me find out. The same theory works with me too.
