You have to bring cash into Yangoon, USD for the hotels, local money for the rest of the stuffs.
There are some pub here and there, but if you want decent ones, try the pub at parkroyal hotel.
As for their capital, Naypidaw, it is a much quieter city as compare to Yangoon, and when the weekends come, it is like a ghost town. And there are currently two small malls, very small ones there. Did i mentioned that the malls are small?
The Hotels there are around 120USD - 400USD
