Chrestor, Niacin etc... dunno if u bros believe me or not... I had high cholesterol for many years but was "manageable" and cardiologist said "up to me" if I wanted to take drugs to manage it. So I started on statins for a year before I moved to Bangkok. Didn't take regularly coz it can affect your liver plus I drink a lot. So I stopped taking statins during my 2 years in Bangkok.
I did a blood test about a month after I was posted back and when the results came back my cholesterol was normal! GP also didn't believe my results so did follow up with cardiologist. Unfortunately it was back to bad levels. 2nd test was almost 4 months after my return.
if the 1st test results r correct then I could only think that my diet in Bangkok could have affected my cholesterol levels. My GF stayed with me for 2 years and she ate lots of veg, raw & cooked, and little oily or deep friend foods. Me being rubbish bin ate what she bought or cooked
