KNN,,,, you and your 1001 questions! Well, I know the following for a fact:

1) Age - These AMs' tends to be more mature or older compared to those meimeis' in their late teens and early 20's.

2) Competition - As if you did not notice, much less AM compared to meimeis'

3) Psychological reasons - newbie punters will think AMs' are more exclusive, rare or more difficult than meimeis' to bed. 老油条 like you should know better.

4) Words of mouth - was told by managers and meimei alike that they are not being paid a regular salary. Haven't you notice that once the flower street is over, they will roam around KTV rooms chatting up unweary Customers? Those being paid a regular salary will stick to the balance meimei for room presentation.

5) Lastly, I personally know a few AMs' and their mommies confirm that they are not being paid salaries.
