I absolutely love dragonlance and forgotten realms stuff. I still have some of these fighting fantasy novels in my cupboard.
Yes, given that there are quite a few flowery fr writers here penning mini romance epics, I try not to add in any more fluff to my reports to make it easier on samsters trying to navigate their way to a genuinely good bang for their buck
Though I've recently realized that such efforts aren't quite worth me trouble no more

It takes me usually 15 minutes to an hour to pen a FR. To answer you on what inspires me, I'm flattered that you asked. Well, I love writing and literature, and was an "S" paper student in English. I was also an avid reader of the Dragonlance as well as the Magician novels. The language used there is simply beautiful. A Magician novel was many a time a lifesaver when stuck on some mountain in ROC or holed up in some remote bush area in Rockhampton in my NS days. Being a Trekkie fan I guess compounds the mix with its philosophical and sometimes irreverent bent and as a series, its requirement to flesh out the plot in a limited time. Add to that my day job where I'm in Communications and my fascination for the human condition.
There it is, my literary being in a nutshell
And your writing skills are not dry; your FRs shoot straight to the heart of the matter. If a gal is a good fuck, you are able to say that in 10 words or less; I take at least 100 words hehehe
